Healing After Loss offers support to those healing from adult losses in their lives such as a spouse, parent, sibling or friend. The group emphasizes each individual's particular situation and needs by sharing the strengths and knowledge each member brings to the group. In addition, the Center for Life Experience, Inc library provides many resources.
Stepping out into the workplace or society, in general, can prove overwhelming and difficult. Socialization is essential to anyone grieving, so it is an important aspect of this group.
Informal social gatherings, usually at a local restaurant, are scheduled for those who wish to enjoy a meal together before the meeting. Time and location are noted on the reminder postcards sent out prior to each meeting
